I don’t normally do requests but so many of you asked for this so finally after much reluctance I have made this tutorial just for you. I have only recently started wearing the scarf in this way so am still a bit fiddly doing it and my children were insisting on not getting on with each other so I had to stop the video a few times anyway I hope I explained it ok. If you have any questions please ask.

The freedom which was brought by a record agreement in the Turkish parliament received attention from Europe. In this process, some media outlets which are trying to give the impression “Europe is worried” as they source extremist European deputies who are known for their foreign hostilities.
The Headscarf issue has become a major concern for the EU. Different media groups try to show the EU is on their side on the issue.
Some media which try to polarize the public opinion choose very specific utterances from the context of the legislation in a misleading way or neglect the background of the people whom they refer to on the matter.
One example is that the claim there is a disagreement between EU members on the headscarf issue. However, there is no ban on headScarves in European universities.
While the European Commission is silent on the amendment, the European parliament which is known as the conscience of the union has been calling an agreement on the headscarf issue. However, the parliament is nor as effective as the Commission.
Ria Oomen-Ruijten, European Parliament member and Turkiye reporter and Turkish originated Parliament member Emine Bozkurt are hearlding the amendment. Bozkurt said that she talked about the abolishment of the ban on headscarf in her report titled “The Role of Woman in Social, Political and Economic Life in Turkiye”.
Political analysts draw attention to the fact that Turkiye has the potential and strength to implement decisions regarding its future. However, the EU seems not interested in Turkiye’s internal affairs.
