Has anybody ever tried to handwash a genuine Pashmina and what were the results?
Is that really all you have to worry about?!

If you guys have any sites that have other ways of tying scarves that please list the websites! THANXs!
Lol, these Scarves are tricky, usually you get the cutest look by just chucking it on.
But i found a way to make it look like that.
unfold the scarf into a full square, fold it in half so it's like a giant triangle..Put the triangle up to your neck, with the point pointing downward so like ^ but upside down… LOL, then with the edges of the triangle, wrap them around your neck and tie them udner the triangle or let them loosely go.
hope i helped.

i bought and used my scarf i bought from eddie bauer(sp?) and it's a 60% wool and 40% cashmere.
it tells me to handwash – which i'm not sure how i'm supposed to do.
can i leave it up to the dry cleaners? will it even be worth it (the money that is)
i'm planning to wash it after this winter goes by so i can use it for next year's winter.
I do a lot of handwashing. Especially on my delicates.I put some laundry det. in the sink (with stopper plugged) usually just a small amount since your only washing one piece. Then I fill the sink w/ warm water, you may want to use cold w/ wool & cashmere, and clean the fabric like I'm warming my hands. (Fabric in between both hands, & just rub together.) Then I drain the sink and rinse the piece of clothing until the water runs clear of soap. I either hang the fabric to dry or w/ somethings I lay them flat. If it's sunny outside I put it outside a lot.
It always seems as though the material is a little hard at first when dry, so I spray w/ some Downy Wrinkle Release. And thats it. It sounds like a big deal. But it only takes a few seconds once you actually start. And it will save you on dry cleaning costs. I do a lot of my dry clean only clothes like this as well.
Hope that helps, sorry, I'm not an expert, just do a lot of my own this way. Good luck! Have a good night.
