It was only 99p off ebay, its navy and i want to dye it petrol bule or brown, which is the best colour to do?

If it's viscose, it isn't really Pashmina.
I hope you didn't pay too much for it.

Having said that, if it is viscose, you can dye it.

I saw this certain item worn by David Beckham with a coat. Instead of a neck tie or a bow tie, you can use the scarf instead to put around your collar. I wanna know what its called. Thanks!
this would be a help in knowing what i'm talking about. http://www.smarttuxedo.com/show_large.php?id=142#
and if you know, do you know where do you find these things.

It's called an ascot.

I'm new at this whole crocheting thing and I find that the huge gold-colored hook is best for me right now… what kind of non-itching yarn works well with the big hook and doesn't cost as much as Cashmere, etc.

Hobby Lobby has a house yarn called I Love This Yarn. It's inexpensive and synthetic. It won't be as warm as wool, but wool makes me itch, so I prefer synthetics for warmth. I absolutely cannot wear or work with wool. I Love This Yarn is good enough for a beginner to use, as it doesn't have weak or uneven spots, in my experience. I'm a moderately experienced crocheter, and I use this for utility items, because it's cheap and decent quality.

Incidentally, saying that a hook is "gold-colored" only tells people what color the hook is. Hooks will come in various sizes, and they will be numbered or lettered. I have G hooks that are colored blue, gold, and green.
